IV. Relevant Software Development Experience
10/98 – present MPSC / AT&T, Government Solutions / PRISM; RCMS Contractor on-site at DoD location under several prime and sub-contractors. Application Developer and task leader. Most recently designed and developed a number of enterprise wide n-tier web applications using C#, ADO.Net, SQL Server 2000 while working on site at DoD customers location. Also developed in the Visual Basic 5.0/6.0, ActiveX and MAPI in SQL Server 6.5/7.0 environment. Developed Web applications using Javascript(ECMA) and Active Server Pages(ASP) to connect to SQL Server RDBMS MS SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS v7/v8/v9i data using RDO, ODBC connection. Custom reports using Crystal Report Writer XI,10.0, 8.5 & 6.0. Also developed automated output of DBMS data to MS Excel, MS Word and Acrobat PDF files using their respective API's with automated distribution of these files via application link to mail system using MAPI. Also developed and supported several other VB6 three tier applications. Created ActiveX components. Also had MS SQL Server, VSS administrator responsibilities. Installed Server, created SQL Server triggers and stored procedures. Server as task leader, designer for mid level developer.
2/96 - 10/98 PDS, Inc. Manager/developer Custom Application Development Group. Dual roles as manager where I managed up to four people and as software developer where I created customer applications using Visual Basic for Applications, MS SQL Server and MS Access. The applications included budgeting, configuration management, contact management, cost modeling, purchasing, scheduling and project management. I integrated custom MS Access applications with MS Project and MS Outlook using their respective API's. I upsized applications from Access to SQL Server and was the MS SQL Server administrator. Other projects in which I participated included WEB Page development using Cold Fusion. I also recruited software developers. Achievement Award in 1996.
9/91 - 2/96 FSC, Inc. CoOwner/Software Developer
I developed applications and supported Database applications using WatCom SQL, Oracle RDBMS, Visual Basic v3.0, Object Pro, Forest & Trees, Crystal Report Writer, Doc-To-Help and dBase. On-site customer support. One of my key development projects included full life cycle development and support of TopPark, a commercial application for specialized billing and payment processing system used to process 30,000 billing units per month and print custom validation tags. Other projects include a fulfillment and membership system for an association, environment cleanup cost tracking for the US Navy, a medical insurance system, a system for tracking memberships of an aircraft parts repair association, and a massive data cleanup effort for a large home insurer with national scope whose data was in disarray.

4/89 to 4/90 Sybase Inc. Senior Sales Representative responsible for sale of the RDBMS products to civilian agencies of the federal government.
- Sold RDBMS to NASA, Treasury, NIH - Achieved sales quota

2/92 to 9/94 and 1/83 to 9/88 Gould Computer Systems(currently Encore) Sales Executive responsible for sales of High performance real-time and UNIX based SuperMini Computers(Gould), UNIX based mainframes (Encore) and associated software to DOD and prime contractors to DOD.
- Sold UNIX mainframe system to DISA through an 8A for the DOD data processing megacenter in Columbus, Ohio. System was sold to offload an MVS mainframe and run what were CICS based TP applications.
- Won $50 million dollar six year contract with systems integrator providing UNIX-based departmental systems and support to DLA. Delivered 67 systems on this contract
- Awarded Regional salesman of the year ($6M in sales) - '86; runner-up '87
- Awarded World Wide Gould salesman of the yr ($13M in sales)-1985
- Awarded National sales rookie of the year ($1.2 M in new business) -1983
- Exceeded quota all six years.
